About
Let’s get to know Sam a bit more …..
Since her early 20’s Sam has wanted to become a wedding celebrant. She worked in the NSW Public Service, in administrative roles, for departments such as the Police Service and the Ombudsman for about 17 years. She worked in numerous roles ranging from investigations, customer service, training, court processing and recruitment. Sam has developed a high level of skills in deciphering legislation, presentation, communication, problem-solving and writing techniques. She has a natural ability in empathy and kindness and is proud to say she has worked with people from all walks of life.
Sam has also been a Justice of the Peace for approximately 17 years to date. Sam has lived on Sydney’s Northern Beaches for the past 23 years and feels grateful for where life has taken her. She grew up in Sydney’s Western Suburbs which has helped develop her strong resilience and work ethic. Sam is married and has been with her husband Ken for husband Ken for 23
years. She has two children Matilda and Jack who are both teenagers. Her family mean the world to her which is the main reason why so has chosen this career path now. Assisting people to create, celebrate and even mourn strong family bonds is what resonates to her core.
When asked Sam’s friends and family describe her as being kind hearted, fun, empathetic, reliable, warm, a person who brings intuition and intelligence to her business as a civil celebrant. She is said to have a strong sense of moral responsibility that is delivered with compassion for others situations and Sam is the perfect fit to the civil ceremony industry.
Sam was such a beautiful and kind celebrant for my Dad’s funeral. Would highly recommend!
